What were you doing before you joined Mahindra?

After graduating from college, I worked for two years with a business research company called Evalueserve, based in NCR. I worked there with European clients on a variety of issues such as knowledge management, business planning and development and thought leadership. I then enrolled in IIM Indore for a full-time two-year management program.

Why did you decide to join Mahindra?

Given its presence across a variety of sectors, Mahindra, to me, was a microcosm of the Indian industry. I was excited to pursue the opportunity to work in a well-structured general management program – one that offers critical roles and ensures fast-paced learning. Working at Mahindra has also given me the ability to gain diverse work experience by working across sectors and functions.

What are you doing now?

I am part of the Corporate Strategy team, working on Group level initiatives. In addition, I also support strategy formulation for Mahindra’s Two Wheeler sector. A typical project involves opportunity identification, consumer research, business strategy formulation and planning.                   

How do you find Mahindra as an employer? 

Mahindra cares about people. While a strong focus on achieving business results is a given, respect for the individual is evident in everyone’s behavior.
