What were you doing before you joined Mahindra?

Mahindra is my first employer. Before joining, I completed my management studies in Agri-Business Management from IIM Lucknow. I interned with Bayer CropScience in the summer of 2010.

Why did you decide to join Mahindra?

I have an innate desire to work in the area of agriculture, to help the farming community rise above its current realm of possibilities. The Mahindra Group was the perfect match, given the work it has done in the past and the host of new initiatives it is undertaking in this field.

What are you doing now?

I am working with the Strategic Planning and New Business Development team in the Automotive and Farm Equipment Sector. I am currently working on strategies for new agri-businesses and piloting some business initiatives, while also working on developing a “Crop Care” strategy.
 

How do you find Mahindra as an employer?

Prior to joining Mahindra, I had never experienced such a diverse range of opportunities and responsibilities in my work, nor had I had access to the sound guidance and mentoring I have received from senior leaders. The past 9 months have been an incredible learning experience, beginning with the initial induction into the Group.
