What were you doing before you joined Mahindra?

I was studying history and French at Dartmouth College, a university in the United States.

Why did you decide to join Mahindra?

My top priority after receiving my bachelor’s degree was to find meaningful international work experience.  Mahindra—which offered me the opportunity to live in one of the world’s most dynamic cities and to gain an insider’s view of a major Indian corporation—was an exceptional opportunity.  Simply put, it was an offer I couldn’t refuse.

What are you doing now?

This is an exciting time for me at Mahindra.  I am preparing to move to Mahindra’s Office of Innovation, a team that strives to inculcate innovative thinking and alternative approaches within the Auto and Farm Equipment Sectors.  My move follows on the heels of an exciting project: working on export strategy for Mahindra Powerol, our diesel generator and engine business.  Prior to this, I’ve also worked on projects for Mahindra Defense and other farm equipment sector companies.

How do you find Mahindra as an employer?

Mahindra is a great place to work if you are interested in learning about wide ranging businesses and willing to take the initiative to explore.  So far I’ve been able to get involved in fascinating projects and to work with talented colleagues.  I’m excited to see what will be in store for me next.
