Beyond Business

The Lifeline Express, the world’s first hospital on wheels chugged into Rangia, Assam, with a little help from Mahindra’s Automotive Sector and Mahindra Finance, in association with the Government of Assam. The mobile hospital provides free medical and surgical treatment to people suffering from four disablements: polio, cataract, deafness and cleft lip. The Chief Minister of Assam, Shri Tarun Gogoi inaugurated the project on December 3.

Mahindra Hariyali, a special project initiated by the Mahindra Group on its 62nd Founders’ Day, fulfilled its promise of adding one million trees to India’s green cover. The project, in fact, surpassed its original target with an astounding 12,21,118 saplings planted by various Mahindra Group companies across India.
