However, it was not just all work at Mahindra in 2007-08. It was celebration time for the Men in Red as Mahindra United lifted the prestigious Durand Cup - the world’s third oldest football tournament. - for the third time.
The Mumbai Marathon saw enthusiastic participation from Team Mahindra which ran for Nanhi Kali, along with Mr. Anand Mahindra. They were joined in this noble endeavour by Bollywood actor, Vidya Balan who lent her support to the cause.

The Mahindra Indo-American Arts Council (MIAAC) Film Festival gave cinema lovers an opportunity to sample the best of Indian and Diaspora cinema. The festival showcased an eclectic mix of films, including Danny Boyle’s dazzling Slumdog Millionaire and Deepa Mehta’s powerful Heaven on Earth. Mira Nair, Konkona Sen Sharma, Madhur Jaffrey, Shabana Azmi and Nandana Sen descended on the Big Apple, adding a dash of Bollywood glamour to the event while Salman Rushdie and Shashi Tharoor also graced the occasion.
