Mahindra Education Society
Bringing schools to industrial centers.
At Mahindra, we take responsibility not only for our impact on our customers, stakeholders, and employees, but also for the local communities we become part of. When we established factories in Mumbai and Khopoli, Maharashtra and Zaheerabad, Andhra Pradesh, we also built schools for our employees’ children through the Mahindra Education Society.
Founded in 1970, the Mahindra Education Society today forms a Governing Council to manage these schools. Our Mahindra Academies have opened their doors to local students whose parents are not Mahindra employees. We hire qualified teachers, provide training, and run relevant workshops to support them in providing excellent teaching, and conduct regular performance evaluations. Thousands of students have passed through our Academies en route to secondary education and successful careers.
