Our Board of Directors believes that a well-defined corporate governance system is the key to creating lasting value for all our stakeholders.

Bharat Doshi Chairman Bharat Doshi Chairman Currently the Mahindra Group CFO, Bharat joined M&M in 1973. He served as Executive Vice President (Corporate Affairs) from July 1991 to August 1992, when he joined the Board as Executive Director in charge of Finance & Accounts, Corporate Affairs, and IT. He serves on many boards, foundations, and committees and has received several awards. He holds an LLM from Bombay University and is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Secretary.		Ramesh Iyer Managing Director Ramesh Iyer Managing Director Ramesh has been working with Mahindra Finance since 1995. Prior to joining Mahindra, Ramesh worked with Ashok Leyland Finance. He serves on several industry committees and has received many awards for his contributions to the field of industrial development, including being named one of India’s Most Valuable CEOs by BusinessWorld in 2010. He is a Commerce graduate and holds an MBA from Mumbai University.



Manohar Bhide Director Manohar Bhide Director Manohar has held several key positions in Indian banking. He served as Chairman and Managing Director of the Bank of India and Managing Director and Group Executive (National Banking) for the State Bank of India. He has also been a member of various committees of the Reserve Bank of India. Manohar holds a Masters degree and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.		Rama Bijapurkar Director Rama Bijapurkar Director Rama is one of India’s leading thinkers on market strategy and consumer related issues. She has held leadership positions with McKinsey & Co and AC Nielsen India, and consulted full-time with Hindustan Unilever India. She currently runs a marketing consulting practice to help Indian and international companies develop market strategy. Rama holds a post-graduate diploma from IIM, Ahmedabad.



Dr. Pawan Goenka Director Dr. Pawan Goenka Director Currently the President of the Automotive and Farm Equipment Sectors, Pawan joined Mahindra in 1993. He spent 14 years with General Motors and conducted pioneering research in engine design. In 2007 he was named Man of the Year by Autocar Professional. Pawan holds a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Kanpur and a PhD from Cornell University, USA.		Piyush Mankad Director Piyush Mankad Director A retired civil servant, Piyush has served in many capacities including in the State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation, State Government, Ministry of Finance, Departments of Industrial Development and Public Enterprises, and others. He received a postgraduate diploma in History from St. Stephens College, University of Delhi, and in Development Studies with Distinction from Cambridge University, UK.



Dhananjay Mungale Director Dhananjay Mungale Director Dhananjay advises various corporations in India and Europe and serves on the Board of several public and private limited companies. He spent the majority of his career in corporate and investment banking in India and Europe working with Bank of America and DSP Merrill Lynch. Dhananjay is a Chartered Accounted and a Law graduate.		Uday Phadke Director Uday Phadke Director Uday joined M&M in 1973. Prior to his retirement in Nov. 2011, he was President of the Finance, Legal, and Financial Services sectors, heading M&M's finance, accounts, investor relations, and legal affairs functions. In 2009, he received the Business Today Yes Bank Best CFO Award for Best Transformation Agent in a large company. Uday holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Sydhenam College, Mumbai and an LLB from Mumbai University.
