Mumbai Mantra, the media and entertainment division of the Mahindra Group, in collaboration with Sundance Institute, has selected eight Indian Screenwriters and their feature film projects for the second annual Mumbai Mantra | Sundance Institute Screenwriters Lab scheduled from March 10-15 at a Club Mahindra Resort. Screenwriting Fellows will engage in an artistically demanding process that offers indispensable lessons in craft, a fresh perspective on their work and a platform to fully realize their material. They will have the opportunity to work intensely on their feature film scripts in an environment that encourages innovation and creative risk-taking, with the support of a distinguished group of established Screenwriters and Directors serving as Creative Advisors.

Attended by luminaries and leading names from the country’s performing arts and theatre scene, the META awards ceremony is a unique red carpet event in theatre. The awards are given away after a weeklong showcase of nominated plays at the Mahindra Theatre Festival. After enthralling theatre audiences during the six day Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Festival showcasing India’s best theatre productions, the 8^th Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards (META) were announced at a glittering ceremony in New Delhi. META is an important part of Mahindra’s Cultural Outreach, as it not only supports the cultural fabric of our society, but also becomes a platform to engage with the creativity and vibrancy of this rich art form.

Known as Asia’s largest and finest Blues event, this year festival’s featured a fantastic artist line-up, showcasing legends like Walter Trout, Michael Messer, Robert Randolph and Dana Fuchs, along with home-grown talent like Soulmate and Big Bang Blues.

Spice Escape 2011 is one of India’s most competitive TSD (time, speed, distance) rallies.  On 16th September 2011, over 40 Mahindra vehicles set off to cover 400 challenging kilometers in 2 days.  Starting and ending in Kochi, drivers had the chance to win Rs. 5 lakh of total prize money.  Spice Escape 2011 is an event from Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.
