Mahindra Tractors sells 16049 units in the domestic market during April 2012

Mumbai, May 2, 2012: Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), a part of the U.S. $14.4 billion Mahindra Group, maintained its leadership position in the tractor industry in April 2012.

Domestic sales in April 2012 stood at 16049 units, as against 17740 units during April 2011. Total tractor sales (domestic + exports) in April 2012 stood at 16797 units, as against 18530 units for the same period last year. Exports for the month of April 2012 stood at 748 units.
