His career spans 37 years in M&M across Automotive and Farm Equipment Sectors handling Design, Planning, Manufacturing and Quality. As Senior Vice President - Central Manufacturing Engineering he is currently responsible for Projects, Manufacturing Engineering, Asset Management - Automotive Sector. His main Projects under Execution are Mahindra Renault Nissan JV at Chennai, Mahindra International JV at Chakan and other New Product Projects - Vehicles, Engines, Transmissions & Axle.Besides this, he has held the following management positions in the Automotive and Farm Equipment Sector

Automotive Sector:


Sr. Vice President - Quality, Engineering & Asset Management

.	Responsible for Quality Control, Establishing In-house Manufacturing Process, Capacity Planning, Equipment Selection & Ordering, Budgeting & Asset Management

Sr. General Manager (Operations)- Automotive Sector, Kandivli

.	Responsible for manufacturing and supply areas covering 390 officers and 2200 workmen

Product Unit Manager (Transmission)

.	Productionising of BA10 gearbox for the latest product offerings of the company

.	Setting up and streamlining the manufacturing systems for the Business Unit.

Senior Manager - Quality Assurance (Vendor Parts- Auto Manufacturing)

.	Responsible for incoming Quality of Bought out parts

.	Deployment of the Quality function at the supplier end, effectively moving from a 100% inspection to an audit inspection

.	Leader of CFT for reduction in Warranty of electricals.

.	Computerisation of Inspection function

Farm Equipment Sector:

Head - Production Planning and Control

.	In charge of Production Planning of Tractor Manufacturing Unit.

Manager - Heavy Machine Shop

.	In charge of Engine & Transmission Manufacturing area in the Plant

Senior Engineer - Light Machine Shop

.	Exposure to a wide variety of Machines / Processes and Practices. Engineer - Tool Design
