The Mahindra Group's  Automotive Sector has an established global presence. Its strategy to have a global footprint has lead to the creation of subsidiaries in South Africa in 2004 - Mahindra South Africa 
(www.mahindra.co.za) and in Europe in 2005 - Mahindra Europe Srl (www.mahindraeurope.com)
 
 

In 2006 Mahindra announced that it would be the first Indian automobile manufacturer to enter the world's most demanding and critical market - USA. The Company has an arrangement with Global Vehicles Inc, USA, for distribution of vehicles in the US market. The Australian market which has the third highest vehicle ownership rate in the world, held great promise for Mahindra Vehicles. From neighbouring Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to far-flung places such as Chile, vehicles sporting the Mahindra logo can now be found in almost every corner of the world. 

The Company has also tied up with assemblers in strategic markets such as Brazil and Egypt. The local partner in Brazil is Bramont Montadora Industrial E Comercial De Veiculos Ltda and in Egypt is Bavarian Auto Manufacturing Company.

Mahindra vehicles have also been on display in prestigious automobile shows such as Paris, Rome, Bologna, Johannesburg and São Paulo.
