Raghunath Murti, is the Executive Vice Chairman of Mahindra Intertrade Limited and Managing Director of Mahindra Steel Service Centre Limited.

He is a member of the Group Management Board of the Mahindra Group where he significantly contributes on projects aimed at maximising synergies across sectors of the company and helps in the business development of key new initiatives of the Group.

Mr.Murti is also a Director of several Mahindra companies such as Mahindra Ashtech Limited, Mahindra Engineering & Chemical Products Limited, and Mahindra Shubhlabh Services Limited.

He joined Mahindra & Mahindra Limited in December 2002 as the Executive Vice President, Business Development. An Honours Graduate in Commerce from St. Xaviers College, Calcutta, Mr.Murti has a Diploma in Marketing Management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

Mr. Murti's career, which spans over three decades, has been associated with a number of start-up businesses as well as important business turnaround projects.

He was closely associated with the setting up of Modi Xerox Limited. He also helped the B.K. Modi Group set up India's first cellular network in Calcutta in collaboration with Telstra, Australia. He was the Vice Chairman of Xerox Modicorp Limited and held senior Board positions in the Modicorp Group and later became the Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Modicorp Limited (2000 - 2002).

Mr. Murti started his career with the Kores Group of Companies (1972-1977) where he set up the Business Machines and Systems Division. As the Managing Director of Gestetner India Limited (1988-1992), he was involved in major organisational changes and succeeded in a significant business turnaround.
