2008  
• M&M won the Auto Monitor CSR award for the Lifeline Express at a glittering ceremony held in New Delhi on the 7th of March 2008. The Lifeline Express was the organization’s largest Esops initiative and was undertaken by the FES Rudrapur plant, who together with other volunteers such as doctors put in an amazing 21,742 man hours.
• Mahindra & Mahindra won the following awards at the Asia Pacific HRM Congress 2007-08 in Mumbai on February 14, 2008 - Employer Brand of the Year 2007-08, Award for Best HR Strategy in line with Business, Award for Talent Management, Award for Continuous Innovation in HR Strategy at Work, Award for Excellence in Training, Award for Managing Health at Work Award for Global HR Strategy, Award for Excellence in HR through Technology and Award for Innovative Retention Strategy.
• Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. was awarded the 'Excellence in Innovation' Award at the Indira International Innovation Summit (3i's Summit) at a glittering function held on the 15th of February, 2008 in Mumbai. This award was presented to M&M for encouraging consistent innovation and building that into the fabric of the business.
• Mr. Anand Mahindra received the CEO of the Year award at the Asia Pacific HRM Congress held at Land's End, Bandra, Mumbai on February 13, 2008. Mr. Mahindra was felicitated for his "outstanding and unparalleled contribution for providing strong, efficient, ethical and visionary leadership".
• On January 19, Mr. Anand Mahindra, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Mahindra & Mahindra, was honoured with Business India's Businessman of the Year 2007. Now in its 26th year, the award was instituted by Business India in 1982 to recognize that one outstanding individual in the business community who is a role model for our times.
• On January 18, Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited bagged the coveted Avaya Global Connect Award on account of Best Customer Responsiveness for its Club Mahindra Holidays Brand, in the travel and tourism category.
• On January 18, Mahindra and Mahindra won the BSE award for Best Corporate Social Responsibility Practice at the Social and Corporate Governance Awards (Innovative strategies - Measurable Impacts), presented by BSE and NASSCOM Foundation. The Award ceremony was the culmination of the Business for Social Responsibility Contest organized by BSE and NASSCOM Foundation in which Mahindra and Mahindra Limited was short listed along with 28 other Corporates for the category Best Corporate Social Responsibility Practice.
• On January 15, FES won the prestigious "Golden Peacock National Quality Award - 2007" for Excellence in Quality. Conferred on after a thorough and rigorous process of evaluation by independent examiners, it is a matter of pride to achieve this honor.
• On January 10, the Logan won the Midsize Car of the Year Award at the annual NDTV Profit Car India & Bike India Awards held in Delhi. The NDTV Profit Car India & Bike India Awards recognize the best in the automobile industry, as showcased in NDTV Profit's highly acclaimed 'Car and Bike' show.
• Logan was declared the Hindustan Times Car of the Year 2007 by HT Cars & Bikes, a supplement of the Hindustan Times and also the Business Standard Motoring Jury Award 2008.
• The Scorpio and the Logan received the TNS 'The Voice of the Customer' award along with the Innova at a glittering ceremony in New Delhi on January 9, 2008.

• Mr. Anand Mahindra, VC & MD, Mahindra Group has been honored as Business India's Businessman of the Year award 2007 in its issue dated December 30, 2007.Business India is India's leading business magazine. The magazine's editorial says, "While the Business India award is for businessmen who have made their mark mainly in India, Anand Mahindra has made significant headway abroad too, a must in the era of globalization."
• The Nashik Plant of Automotive Sector was awarded the prestigious Platinum 1st Runner Up Award of the India Manufacturing Excellence Award (IMEA) 2007 by Frost & Sullivan (global leaders in growth consulting, market research and corporate best practices) in Mumbai on 7th December 2007 amidst an august gathering of world class entrepreneurs. The Nashik Plant was commended as one of the "BEST FACILITIES IN INDIA that have achieved and sustained manufacturing excellence, with the diligence, perseverance, foresight and dedication required to develop a successful manufacturing organization and sustain continuous learning."
• Mahindra & Mahindra Auto Sector's Zaheerabad plant has won the First Prize in the National Energy Conservation Awards - 2007 in the Automobile Industry category and its Nashik Plant has been awarded the Second Prize in the same category. Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, H E The President of India gave the National Energy Conservation Award and Trophy in the presence of Shri Sushil Kumar Shinde, Hon'ble Union Minister of Power at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on December 14, 2007 to Mr. Rajan Wadhera, Executive Vice President (Operations) and Mr. Vijay Dhondge, Vice President (Operations) received the Second Prize.
• Mahindra & Mahindra was honoured with the Pegasus Corporate Social Responsibility Gold Award for CSR at the Pegasus CSR Awards 2007 at a glittering ceremony held in Mumbai yesterday on 12 December 2007. The award was given on the basis of M&M's initiatives in the field of health and education, i.e. Lifeline Express and Nanhi Kali respectively.
• Mahindra Powerol has won the prestigious "VOICE OF CUSTOMER" award for the most preferred Genset Brand in the telecom segment. The award was announced by Frost & Sullivan in a glittering ceremony at Bangalore on 5th December'07 and exemplifies Mahindra Powerol's customer centric approach.
• Mr. Bharat Doshi, Executive Director & Group CFO, M&M, received the CFO of the Year award from Mr. Parthasarthi Shome, Advisor to the Finance Ministry, while Mr. Keki Mistry, MD, HDFC presented him with the award for Best Performing CFO in the Auto, Aviation and Auto Ancillaries Sector at the HSBC CNBC CFO Awards 2007 on November 22, 2007. The HSBC CNBC CFO Awards recognize and honour top performing CFOs across India Inc. and pay tribute to the global spirit of today’s CFO.
• Chairman, Mr. Keshub Mahindra, has been conferred with the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year ‘Lifetime Achievement’ Award for 2007 held in Delhi on November 20, 2007. The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2007 recognize successful entrepreneurs who have displayed an inspiring vision, unabated zeal and passion to make a difference.
• Mahindra & Mahindra has been awarded as the organization with the “Best  Automotive Manufacturing Supply Chain Excellence”. The awards were presented by IndiaTimes Mindscape ( Times of India Group ) alongwith the Business India Group at the Express, Logistics & Supply Chain Awards held in Mumbai on 28th September 2007. A. C. Neilson is accredited with the Research for the Awards Nominee’s & the Winners.

Mr. Arvind Tawde, Sr. VP and CIO, Mahindra & Mahindra, received the CTO of the Year 2007 award for his outstanding contribution to the IT industry and Mahindra & Mahindra. The award was handed over during the 8th CTO forum at Istanbul, Turkey on 9th September, 2007. The CTO of the Year awards is among the most prestigious and felicitates those who have rendered yeoman service to their organizations and industry. The theme of this year’s award was “Celebrating business and technology innovation”.
 •  Mahindra & Mahindra has been honored with the coveted Bombay Chamber Good Corporate Citizen Award 2006-07 on the Chamber’s 172nd Foundation Day on September 21, 2007. The Good Corporate Citizen Award recognizes and honors conspicuous achievement by corporate organizations by way of service to the civic community, in addition to outstanding operational performance. The award takes into account several parameters, including Business Performance, Corporate Interests, Employee Welfare, Customer and Stakeholder Satisfaction and Social Investment.
   
• The Institute of Economic Studies (IES), New Delhi, has awarded the 'Udyog Rattan' to Anjanikumar Choudhari, President – Farm Equipment Sector and Member of the Group Management Board. Mahindra & Mahindra Limited was awarded the 'Certificate of Excellence in Productivity, Quality, Innovation and Management'. IES conferred this award on Mr. Choudhari for “outstanding performance in the field of industrial development of the country.” The awards were presented by Dr Bhishma Narain Singh (Hon'ble former Governor of Tamil Nadu and Assam and former Union Cabinet Minister) during the seminar on Economic Development on September 4, 2007, at New Delhi.
   
• M&M has won the Security Strategist Award 2007 (in the General Industry category) for the Best Information Security Initiative in India. Security Strategist Award acknowledges organizations for their outstanding leadership in the field of Information Security and honors CSOs (Chief Security Officers) for displaying Information Security vision. These are instituted by Information Security, Indian Express Group's IT publication and Microsoft Corporation.
   
• Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd (Mahindra Finance), part of the $ 4.5 billion Mahindra Group and a leading player in providing financial services in the rural and semi-urban markets, has won the "Pioneer Award" in the individual category of the Enterprise Connect Award '07, instituted by Cybermedia India Online Ltd (CIOL) and Dataquest. This award has been given in recognition of MMFSL's innovative project called 'MF Connect 3000', which has been designed to enhance the quality of delivery to the customers.
   
• Mahindra Lifespaces has been honoured as the Best Developer in the Best Transparent Systems category at the recently held CNBC Awaaz - CRISIL Real Estate Awards. Mahindra Lifespaces has been awarded for its residential project, 'The Woods'.
   
• Mahindra & Mahindra was awarded the prestigious SAP ACE 2007 (Awards for Customer Excellence) by SAP India on August 27, 2007. M&M was awarded in the category 'Best Automotive Sector Implementation - Large Enterprises' for SAP Business Warehouse (BW) Implementation along with Management Cockpit.
   
• Mr. Anand Mahindra, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Mahindra Group has been honored with 'The Most Inspiring Corporate Leader of the Year' Award by NDTV Profit at a glittering ceremony in New Delhi on July 27, 2007. Finance Minister P. Chidambaram presented the award to Mr. Mahindra in the presence of who's who of India's corporate world.
   
• Mr. Anand Mahindra, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of the Mahindra Group, was honoured with the LMA Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 award on June 19, 2007. The award has been instituted by the Ludhiana Management Association.
   
• Mahindra & Mahindra Farm Equipment Sector has won an AE50 Outstanding Innovation Award 2007 from ASABE (American Society for Engineering in Agricultural, Food, and Biological Systems). ASABE is an international, not-for-profit organization of diverse members dedicated to advancing agricultural, biological and food engineering. Mahindra& Mahindra Farm Equipment Sector developed the Mahindra Shaan, deemed one of the year’s most innovative designs in engineering products or systems for the food and agriculture industries. The Mahindra Shaan is featured in the June 2007 special AE50 issue of ASABE’s magazine Resource: Engineering & Technology for a Sustainable World.
   
• Mahindra & Mahindra's Farm Equipment division has been awarded the prestigious "Golden Peacock Occupational Health & Safety Award" for the year 2007 for Excellence in Health and Safety Practices. The award is conferred after a thorough and rigorous process of evaluation by independent examiners. This year, the jury was headed by Justice P.N. Bhagwati, the former Chief Justice of India.
   
• Mahindra & Mahindra has been awarded the coveted Golden Peacock Eco - Innovation Award for its Innovative vehicle - Bijlee, the all electric, zero emissions vehicle. The award was presented on June 7, 2007 at a Convention on Corporate Response to Climate Change with the theme, "Combating Climate Change through Market Driven Solutions" at Palampur (Himachal Pradesh).
   
• Mahindra & Mahindra has won the all India award for export excellence instituted by the Engineering Export Promotion Council. Mahindra Farm Equipment Sector, which has been the domestic leader in tractors for the last 24 years, has been crowned Star Performer for 2005-06 by EEPC. The award was handed over to Mr. V. S. Parthasarathy, Executive VP, International Operations, Mahindra & Mahindra Farm Equipment Sector, by the Honourable Minister for Commerce & Industry, Mr. Kamal Nath, at a function in New Delhi on June 1 '07. The award recognizes Mahindra Tractors' outstanding contribution to Engineering Exports in the category of Large Enterprises in the product group "Agriculture & Forestry Machinery & Parts.
   
• The Institute of Economic Studies, New Delhi, has awarded the 'Udyog Rattan' to Ramesh Iyer, managing director, Mahindra Finance. Mahindra Finance was awarded the 'Certificate of Excellence in Productivity, Quality, Innovation and Management'. IES conferred this award on Mr. Iyer for "outstanding performance in the field of industrial development of the country." The awards were presented by Dr Bhishma Narain Singh (Hon'ble former Governor of Tamil Nadu and Assam) during the seminar on Economic Development on May 22, 2007, at New Delhi.
   
• Systech received the Best Supplier Award for 2006 from Benteler Automotive, a global tier one supplier with revenue of over $ 4 billion, for 2006 at an award ceremony at Paderborn in Germany.
   
• Tech Mahindra awarded for Outstanding contribution, Achievements in the telecom industry and for continued support to the OSS/BSS community at the "Billing & OSS World 2007" conference. The award was announced by Telestrategies on April 25th 2007 as a part of the Billing & OSS World 2007 conference in Chicago.
