Our power leasing business is our response to the changing needs of our telecom customers as the boom in the Indian telecommunications market attracts new players and intensifies competition.  As a result, telecom companies are demanding that tower companies reduce operating costs.  This burden falls largely on the cost of owning and operating diesel generator sets, the largest investment made in a tower site after the tower structure itself.

As the largest supplier of gensets to the telecom tower industry, we are well positioned to meet this need.  Our power leasing programs offer gensets to tower companies on a wet lease basis.  By supplying, operating, and maintaining the gensets, we bring tower companies several benefits.   First, the wet lease reduces their capital expenditure.  Second, it frees up their time and resources so they can focus on managing active infrastructure (the signal-relaying electronic equipment).  Third, they can easily scale up to a larger genset as operations expand simply by leasing a more powerful genset.
