Mahindra Aerospace is a new player in the delivery of aircraft, aero-structure components and aircraft development services.  We’re poised to deliver new aircraft to the international general aviation sector and capture significant growth opportunities in India’s defense and civil aerospace market.  Our vision is to become a globally recognized manufacturer of aircraft and a tier 1 supplier of components and assemblies.

With our acquisition of Aerostaff Australia and Gipps Aero, we’re making rapid strides towards our goal.  We’re also developing a state-of-the-art component manufacturing facility in Bangalore to focus on component and aero-structure assembly expertise in sheet metal, machining, and special processing.

We’re steadily developing a comprehensive metallic aerostructures manufacturing capability in India through a combination of quickly operational rented facilities and the longer-term development of greenfield manufacturing facilities. 

In partnership with the National Aerospace Laboratories, we’re already developing a new 5-seat light utility aircraft.  Our role comprises design, production of aircraft structures for the flying prototypes, ground test assemblies, and certification.  We’re also working on a new 10-seat turbine and an 18-seat twin turbine.
