In a colorful career spanning 28 years, C.P. has built international start-ups and driven turnarounds, joint ventures, and mergers & acquisitions. Before spearheading Mahindra Satyam, C.P. headed Tech Mahindra’s global operations, sales, and marketing functions.  It was under his leadership that Tech Mahindra emerged as one of the leading providers of IT and telecom solutions to the global telecom ecosystem.

C.P. earned his degree in chemical engineering from NIT, Rourkela.

He has held several leading positions with companies like Hewlett Packard, Perot Systems and HCL.  He orchestrated the HCL Corporation and Perot Systems joint venture from its inception to its establishment as one of India’s top IT services companies.

In 2007, C.P. was nominated by Ernst & Young for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

C.P. takes a keen interest in community work and participates in CSR initiatives across the company.  He is passionate about mentoring the next generation to create strong leadership for tomorrow.  He’s also a Julia Roberts movie buff and loves to golf.

C.P. lives in Hyderabad with his wife, Anita.  They have a daughter and a son.
