Mahindra World City, Jaipur marches on Signs-up four new clients

Jaipur Continuing its commitment of providing state-of-the art infrastructure facilities at par with global standards to the leading corporates Mahindra World City, Jaipur, has signed-up four new clients recently. This SEZ currently palys host to over 30 companies of which Infosys and Deutsche Bank have commenced operations. Others including Wipro, , Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Connexxions, Nagarro Software, Nucleus, Truworth, QH Talbros, Genus Power, Veto Electropowers, Marsons, Dynamic Cables, Tijaria Polypipes, Poly Medicure, A L Paperhouse, Rustic Furniture, Pinkcity Enterprises, Readiprint are  currently setting up operations at Mahindra World City, Jaipur.

Three leading handicrafts exporters viz. Ratan Textiles, Rajdhani Crafts & GAD Fashions have recently signed-up to construct their facilities in the Handicrafts SEZ of Mahindra World City, Jaipur. While Rajdhani Crafts is engaged in the business of wooden handicraft furniture, the other two are exporting handmade textile made-ups, home furnishings and handmade paper products.

MWC, Jaipur’s handicraft zone is spread across 250 acres. The handicraft zone has been specially designed to meet all the needs of the handicraft sector to enable it to attain a combative edge in the international market and trigger steady and sustained growth. This zone has already attracted some of the best names from Jaipur’s handicraft fraternity.

Talking about his company’s expansion plans, Mr Sunit Jain, CEO, Ratan Textile said, “We decided to join hands with Mahindra World City owing to their commitment to quality and world class infrastructure support. In the IT SEZ, All CAD - a leading software development company, will set up a start-of-the-art centre in the Evolve IT Park of Mahindra World City, where Deutsche Bank is already operational. All CAD provides software solutions and CAD services to varied segments like Engineering, Building & Architecture, Manufacturing, Automobile, Designing industries, etc.

Mahindra World City’s IT SEZ is spread over 750 acres and has already attracted top IT/ITeS companies such as Infosys, Wipro, Nucleus Software, Nagarro and Truworth. Mahindra World City is also developing a Technology Park ‘Evolve’ in a campus of 25 acres within the SEZ, which will offer built-up space to IT/ITES companies on lease.

At full capacity occupancy & operations level, Mahindra World City, Jaipur is expected to attract investment of over Rs.10,000 crores and would create direct employment for approximately 100,000 people and indirect employment for over 1,50,000 people. It would have exports of more than US$1billion year on year.

 

Mahindra World City, Jaipur, has been identified as part of a list of 16 projects globally, which are being supported by the Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI), a foundation for sustainable development promoted by Former US President Bill Clinton. Only 2 of these projects are India-based, and Mahindra World City, Jaipur is one of these. The Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI) is a program of William J. Other clients which are setting up their campuses in the 750 acre IT/ITeS SEZ include Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Nagarro, Connexions, Truworth to name a few. The development work on the other two notified zones is going full throttle. With 19 companies signed between Light Engineering & Handicraft Zones, the SEZ will soon become the reference point for SEZ across the country.
