~The Defensive driver training will sensitize the importance of safe driving and improve the driving skills of driver partners~

Mumbai, 16 January, 2018: Mahindra Logistics, the largest 3PL solutions providers in the Indian logistics industry, has initiated a special training programme to sensitize, train and empower drivers across India about safety and security. The training programme will be conducted as a part of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMVKY).

Mahindra Logistics endeavors to train 10000 drivers across the country. This skill and certification aims to enable and mobilize a large number of drivers to drive responsibly, understand vehicle condition and statutory compliances, safe driving in diverse conditions, behavioral training, stress management and communication.

Under this initiative, Mahindra Logistics with Nidan Technologies, the empaneled agency by the Government, will impart training of defensive driving to improve the driving skills of its driver partners and anticipate situations while driving. The program will help to enhance the skill of the drivers and get practical knowledge through classroom sessions with the experts and will be certified by the Government.
