Mumbai, July 17, 2017: TRRINGO, India's foremost organized rental services for tractors and agricultural equipment and part of the $19 billion Mahindra Group, today announced a 60% increase in farmer flow in the first quarter of FY2018 over FY2017. As its next milestone, TRRINGO aims to add value to 1 million farmers in the next one year.
By the end of the first quarter of this financial year, TRRINGO has touched the lives of over 50,000 farmers, clocking over 40,000 hours of work in the fields of India. Since its inception in March 2016, TRRINGO has expanded its operations in the 5 states of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh and has made tractors available to more than 1 lac farmers across 5,000 villages.
Speaking on TRRINGO's achievement Arvind Kumar, Head of Operations - TRRINGO, said, "We are happy to enter FY2018 with a 60% growth in our farmer flow. This is a significant milestone in our journey. Since its inception, TRRINGO has played a three-fold role by making farm mechanization accessible for all farmers, generating employment for tractor operators and creating business opportunities for the rural businessmen. At TRRINGO we want to improve productivity and reduce cost for the farmer by consistently delivering on our customer value proposition of empowering farmers with advanced farm equipment. Going ahead, we will further expand our base and focus on adding significant value to more farmers."
Today, TRRINGO is a preferred choice for the agricultural community, as it has reached out directly to the farmers and enabled them to deploy mechanization technology on a pay per use basis without having to invest in the asset. It has also helped bridge the gap between requirement and availability, offering farmers easy access to a wide variety of tractors and other farm equipment. The TRRINGO tagline, "Ab Tractor Call Karo" means - A call to '1800 266 266 8', (the toll free number) connects the farmer to the TRRINGO call center. According to the farmers’ requirements appropriate services are provided through the nearest available tractor and equipment. With TRRINGO, farmers in India are now empowered to order tractors, compared to earlier when they faced problems while ordering tractors in the unorganized market. TRRINGO's brand proposition is 'Ghar baithe tractor mangwana aap ka haq hai', ensuring the farmer's right to mechanization.
TRRINGO's way forward is based on 3 key pillars: Building reliable supply of tractors and farm equipment, attracting demand and ensuring a quality user experience.
