Mahindra Logistics commenced operations in December 2000 as a Strategic Initiative of Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. to move from a Product Centric Organization to a Service Centric Organization
In 2000, the Mahindra Group set up Mahindra Logistics* (erstwhile Transport Solutions Group) to take care of its complex transportation needs. These included inbound and outbound logistics and inter-plant movement, among other services. While it was originally intended as an in-house facility for Mahindra Group companies only, Mahindra Logistics began to extend its services to external clients across the world. It has now grown into a complete logistics service provider providing end to end supply chain solutions.

Mahindra Logistics has four business divisions focusing on:
  • Supply Chain Management (SCM)
  • Corporate People Movement (CPM)
  • Internal M&M Business
  • International Logistics
