Mission Even (Kaabil) - Digital Platform Mahindra & Mahindra Limited has partnered with Kaam and implemented Mission Even Digital Platform (Kaabil) with the objective of strengthening women’s access to sustainable employment by creating a gender- intentional digital employment ecosystem that connects job-ready women with employers. The platform focuses on addressing systemic barriers such as limited access to job networks, digital literacy gaps, and the need for hyper-local employment opportunities through a userfriendly mobile and web-based interface. Stakeholder feedback during the impact assessment highlighted the following outcomes: • 77% of the respondents reported that focused efforts on intuitive design and clear communication enabled them to quickly grasp the platform’s purpose and understand it with ease. • 70% of the respondents found the streamlined onboarding processes—covering registration and profile creation, clear and manageable, supporting smooth entry into the platform. • 82% of the respondents reported that the app was easy to navigate, reflecting the emphasis on simple, user-friendly design accessible even to those with basic digital literacy. • 97% of the respondents valued job listings, guidance and support, and profile creation as the most useful components, indicating strong engagement driven by features designed around real job-search needs. • 95% of the respondents agreed that the platform’s features and overall approach aligned well with their employment needs, strongly validating its relevance through user feedback. • 96% of the respondents reported improved access to women-specific job opportunities, while 100% of employers found the onboarding and platform processes effective, contributing to Kaabil receiving an Exemplary rating under the PMGA framework. PRERNA-Empowering Women Mahindra & Mahindra Limited partnered with Manav Vikas Sansthan to strengthen women’s socioeconomic participation through improved access to organised institutions, livelihood opportunities, skill development, health services, and nutrition support. During FY24, the project covered Ambala (Haryana) and S.A.S. Nagar (Punjab). Stakeholder and beneficiary engagement during the impact assessment process have highlighted the following outcomes for projects initiated in FY24: • 100% of the respondents reported participation in Self Help Groups and Joint Liability Groups. • 100% of the respondents reported engagement in income-related activity. • 75% of the respondents reported having no prior income and are now earning. • 70% of the respondents reported that they now contribute to household expenses. • 80% of the respondents reported gaining enterprise skills. • Respondents reported that farm-based activities generated income potential of Rs. 66,000 – Rs. 78,000 annually depending on their specific farm activities. • Respondents reported that tractor driving reduced labor/service dependence and created approximate monthly savings potential in the range of Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 3,000 per month. • 85% of the respondents reported improved health/ nutrition awareness. • 100% of the respondents reported increased participation in personal health-checkups. • 80% of the respondents reported reduced expenditure on vegetables through kitchen gardens, indicating direct household-level savings. • 75% of the respondents reported improved dietary/ health practices. • Respondents reported that kitchen-garden benefited them in saving Rs. 300 – Rs. 500 monthly. It also provided them with improved access to fresh and nutritious vegetables despite seasonal limitations.
