Mumbai, October 7, 2015: Mahindra Group Chairman Emeritus, Mr. Keshub Mahindra today received the prestigious Frost and Sullivan 2015 Award for Leadership, Innovation and Growth for his visionary leadership. This award recognizes eminent individuals that have contributed or excelled in the areas of growth, innovation and leadership over the course of their careers.

On being presented the award, Mr. Keshub Mahindra, Chairman Emeritus, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. said "I am truly honored and grateful to have been selected as the recipient of the 2015 Award for Leadership, Innovation and Growth by Frost & Sullivan. The creation of a strong and vibrant India has always been the purpose that has driven our business decisions. Corporates must play an active role in addressing the issues of poverty, social injustice and inequality, and innovation has to be a powerful resource for addressing these burning issues."

"If we accept the principle that innovation is one of the main drivers of corporate success, then we have to recognize that innovation can only exist and flourish in a working culture and environment which empowers individuals, gives them freedom to think, freedom to act, take risks without fear, and be rewarded for achieving excellence. If we can create such a working culture then the magic of innovation begins to play its part in the creation of growth and excellence," added Mr. Mahindra.

According to Mr. Brian Denker, Vice President & Global Head of Growth, Innovation and Leadership, Frost & Sullivan, "A leader knows he has been triumphant when he has created an enterprise which continues to steadily grow and expand beyond the many disruptive and complex forces and transformational change happening around it. For more than 48 years, Keshub Mahindra has inspired an enterprise with a continued focus toward identifying growth opportunities through new ideas and inspirational innovations that has placed Mahindra's multi-national group on the map in today’s global marketplace and one that is committed to "enabling people to rise".

Previous recipients of this honor include Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Richard Branson, Dr. Charles Roberts, Mitchell Baker, Judy Estrin, Jim Basille, Steve Woods, Nicholas Taleb and Marc Benioff.
