STATUTORY REPORTS | Board’s Report 141 Executive Summary of Impact Assessment Reports Your Company has commissioned BlueSky Sustainable Business LLP Limited to carry out independent 3rd Party Impact Assessment studies for 11 CSR projects conducted in FY26. The Executive summary of the Projects is provided in this annexure. 1. Project Nanhi Kali Mahindra & Mahindra Limited in partnership with the K.C. Mahindra Education Trust and the Naandi Foundation supported Project Nanhi Kali’s After-school programme and Digital Equalizer for Girls programme in FY24. After-school programme: The After-school programme of Project Nanhi Kali provided comprehensive support to underserved girls studying in Grades 1st to 10th. Through the Nanhi Kali after-school academic support classes (ASCs), each girl received access to a digital tablet pre-loaded with an AI-powered, personalized adaptive learning software (Mindspark). In addition, every girl was provided with a school supplies kit, which consisted of a school bag, stationery, a pullover/raincoat and feminine hygiene material (for secondary school girls) enabling them to attend school with dignity. The initiative also incorporated a professionally designed sports curriculum to foster holistic development among the students. On-ground delivery of the program was managed by Community Associates (CAs)—women from local communities who were specially trained to administer the curriculum, ensuring the program was both effective and culturally sensitive. In FY24, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited supported 49,440 girls across 6 states in 13 districts. Engagement with key stakeholders during the impact assessment process revealed the following outcomes for the project initiated in FY24: • 96.30% Nanhi Kalis reported improvement in reading and writing in their local language. • 93.20% Nanhi Kalis reported improved understanding of English. • 93.70% Nanhi Kalis expressed ease in understanding Mathematics. • 100% Nanhi Kalis agreed that school kits helped them attend school with confidence. • 94.44% Nanhi Kalis strongly agree that regular participation in sports makes them feel healthier and stronger. • 99.26% Nanhi Kalis reported that Mindspark made lessons easier to understand. • 98.88% Nanhi Kalis reported regular attendance at ASCs. • 100% CAs reported that the trainings were effective and prepared them well to deliver instructions. • 98.52% Nanhi Kalis strongly agreed that the family support had increased. • 100% CAs observed improved parental attitudes. Digital Equalizer for Girls- DEFG: The DEFG programme of Project Nanhi Kali aimed to empower underserved adolescent girls studying in Grades 9th to 12th by providing them with essential digital literacy and life skills through a meticulously designed curriculum that supported both their academic growth and future employability. The comprehensive curriculum covered a wide range of crucial skills, including problem solving and critical thinking, time management and organization, creativity and innovation, interpersonal skills, digital proficiency, gender sensitization, and career awareness. To ensure effective and engaging learning, the programme was delivered by highly qualified instructors who employed diverse teaching methods, such as online videos, interactive exercises, student-focused classroom discussions, handson activities, and real-world applications. This holistic approach helped the girl students to practically apply the knowledge and skills they acquired in meaningful ways. In FY24, 24,213 adolescent girls were trained across 186 institutions in 24 districts of Delhi, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh by Mahindra & Mahindra Limited. Beneficiary engagement during the impact assessment process revealed the following outcomes for the project initiated in FY24: • Girl students reported increased confidence from 24.41% to 82.67% in using tools such as email, Word, and basic digital applications for schoolrelated tasks. • Girl students’ confidence in speaking and selfexpression increased from 28.35% to 88.19%. • The girl students reported improvements across key life skills, particularly in teamwork (74.80%),
