87 RISE FOR A MORE EQUAL WORLD | Social Impact SOCIAL IMPACT We believe progress becomes meaningful when it creates pathways for every individual and community to Rise. Our approach to social impact is rooted in a fundamental belief in equity, dignity, and the power of shared prosperity. One conviction drives everything we do: Only when we enable others to rise will we rise. Through meaningful collaboration with communities, institutions, and civil society, we work to unlock potential, build resilience, and widen access to opportunities that can truly transform lives. Social Capital in our Value Creation For the Mahindra Group, Social Capital is the foundation on which sustainable, long-term value is built. Our community engagement is built on genuine listening and deep-rooted partnerships with local institutions, ensuring our interventions respond to both national imperatives and ground-level realities. By embedding social impact at the heart of our value creation model, we are working towards a future that is both economically resilient and inclusive. In FY26, we deepened this commitment through focused, scalable CSR interventions across education, livelihoods, health, water conservation, and community resilience. A key milestone was the launch of a maternal and newborn healthcare initiative, expanding our focus to critical early-life and maternal care needs. Our flagship programmes continued to create meaningful impact, including Project Nanhi Kali, which empowered girls through education, 21st century skills, and sports leadership, and Kaabil, which equipped women with employable skills and pathways to financial independence. We also strengthened access to higher education through institutional support and scholarships, and advanced future-ready skilling by supporting technical infrastructure and capacity building across 70 ITIs. Through water conservation and sustainable agriculture initiatives, we continued working closely with rural communities to enhance water security and promote responsible resource management. By building partnerships, aligning with the SDGs and deepening community engagement, we remain committed to shaping a more inclusive and resilient India — one where every individual can Rise. 220 crore M&M Ltd.
