89 RISE FOR A MORE EQUAL WORLD | Social Impact Empowering Women - Project Kaabil Kaabil, Mahindra Group’s flagship women empowerment initiative, is designed as a collective of organisations working together to unlock women’s workforce participation at scale and contribute to a stronger, more inclusive economy through enhanced income and agency. Since its inception, Kaabil has empowered more than 1.4 million women, marking a significant milestone and bridging the gap between education and employment. Kaabil follows a dual approach through in-person and digital interventions, equipping young women with relevant soft and life skills, domain-specific vocational skills, and 'job readiness' to secure and navigate formal employment. Kaabil also supports the training of small and marginal farmers in agri-skilling, biodiversity, and regenerative agriculture to improve soil fertility, increase yields, and enhance livelihoods. In addition to on-ground skills training and placements, the newly launched 'Kaabil portal' serves as a tech-enabled ecosystem that connects skilled women to verified, hyperlocal job opportunities – while also building sector awareness and employability confidence. 4,62,704 Women were trained across employability, vocational domains, and agri-skilling in FY26 1.4+ million Women were empowered, since the inception of Project Kaabil Enabling First-Generation Careers through Employability Skilling A critical step towards economic inclusion begins with preparing women for formal employment.
