Key Functional L&D Tracks: Capability building at Mahindra is anchored in a tiered, persona-based architecture that enables structured development from frontline roles to senior leadership, aligned to role complexity and leadership maturity. At the foundation, some key culture assimilation programmes such as Safe2Express and Customer Obsession establish shared values, psychological safety, and a strong customer-first mindset across cohorts, ensuring organisational alignment and consistent leadership behaviours. These Signature Programmes form the cross-cutting development layer, combining leadership, behavioural, and functional capabilities through blended and scalable interventions. These programmes address enterprise-wide capability priorities such as business acumen, execution excellence, collaboration, and people leadership, while remaining flexible to evolving business needs. Functional Talent Accelerators As we accelerate into the software defined vehicles era, Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) is focused on building a strong, future-ready talent reservoir. With the right mix of expertise, diversity, and agility, we are prepared to support an unprecedented scale and complexity of product delivery. Talent ramp-up has been guided by a conscious emphasis on early career hiring, gender and geographic diversity, and niche technology skills. This enables us to infuse fresh perspectives while strengthening depth in critical domains. We built depth across emerging domains such as ADAS, SDVs, connected cars, cybersecurity, electric powertrains, and advanced vehicle systems. Hiring of international talent in select areas has further augmented in-house capabilities, bringing international best practices and specialised knowledge. Early career talent has emerged as a strategic lever, ensuring faster adoption of new technologies and a strong leadership pipeline. MRV has made significant investments in skilling and institutional capability building to stay ahead of the rapid technology shifts. Teams were upskilled in electric powertrain calibration, vehicle diagnostics, ADAS validation, vehicle dynamics, aerodynamics, and software evaluation. Capabilities have been further bolstered by world-class innovation infrastructure, including battery and cell labs, crash and safety labs, cybersecurity and ADAS testing facilities. The deliberate combination of scaled and diverse hiring, and focused capability building has created a future-ready workforce that can absorb fast-evolving technologies while delivering complex, high-quality products at speed. • Mahindra Technical Academy rolled out over 200 dynamic learning programmes, enhancing both technical and behavioural capabilities. • A strong focus on gender diversity has yielded a transformational increase in women representation.
