In 2011, Mahindra became the first Indian two-wheeler manufacturer to enter the Moto Grand Prix championships.  MotoGP™ is the world’s premier motorcycle racing championship, drawing entries from the world's top manufacturers.  In our inaugural year, the team entered the fray in the 125cc category and finished third in the Constructors Championship.

We entered the Italian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (CIV) 125cc GP Class in 2012, winning the championship in our inaugural year and becoming the first team from India to win an international motorsport title. In 2013, the team has entered the Moto3 (250cc - 4 stroke) class with talented riders Andrea Locatelli and Michael Rinaldi.

2013 also sees Mahindra Racing enter the Moto3™ class in MotoGP™ with two exciting riders, experienced Spaniard Efrén Vázquez, and young Portuguese talent Miguel Oliveira. The new season also marked the debut of Mahindra Racing’s all new MGP3O, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, 250cc motorcycle, developed together with experienced Swiss company, Suter Racing Technology AG.

Our growing successes have helped showcase our engineering and technology expertise on a platform where the best in the world compete.
