‘Travel with confidence’ to a Club Mahindra resort for a ‘SafeStay’

Club Mahindra is gearing up to welcome back its over 258,000 members, at 32 resorts across India

The Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns to curb its transmission have ensured your stay indoors — busy with work and nowhere to go. Here is some good news that will brighten your spirits.

Club Mahindra has recently rolled out its ‘Travel with Confidence’ initiative to provide its members and guests a well-deserved and hassle-free holiday to relax and rejuvenate.

Club Mahindra is preparing to recommence operations in 32 resorts across India, constituting over half of its resort network, to cater to 258,000 members. The new initiative offers a complete travel solution to ensure the health and safety of members and guests, with initiatives such as Covid-19 testing andinsurance, travel insurance, self-driven cars, and car sanitation services.

“We have put in place stringent sanitation and hygiene protocols to enable contactless service and social distancing at our resorts as part of our Club Mahindra 'SafeStay' programme,” said Kavinder Singh, MD & CEO, Mahindra Holidays and Resorts. ‘SafeStay’ is a part of the new ‘Travel with Confidence’ initiative.

The soon-to-start resorts are located at scenic holiday destinations such as Coorg, Cherai, Thekkady, Udaipur, Dwarka, Munnar, Corbett, Mussoorie, Dharamshala, and Manali, among others. These resorts are located outside designated containment zones and strictly follow government health and safety guidelines.

Resorts in Thailand and Dubai have also recommenced operations, though Mr Singh believes that travellers would prefer domestic destinations for now.

Club Mahindra has also redesigned the entire guest experience to make it contact-free, beginning with the check-in. Resort staff have undergone extensive training to ensure social distancing, sanitation frequency, and safe service interactions. Bureau Veritas, the global leader in testing and inspection, will regularly and frequently test and certify the resorts’ compliance to hygiene and sanitation protocols. The core parameters of the assessment include personal and facility hygiene. Concurrently, Club Mahindra is partnering leading experts in healthcare and technology to implement enhanced safety procedures.

The ‘Travel with Confidence’ initiative offers the highest standards of safety and hygiene without compromising on the warmth of its signature ‘Club Mahindra Experience’. It is another testament to Club Mahindra’s Rise to meet the ‘new normal’.
