First site in collaboration with HPCL goes live on the Mumbai–Pune Expressway

Mumbai, September 24, 2026: Charge_iN by Mahindra today announced the expansion of its ultrafast public EV charging network to 50 live locations across India. With the latest station at HP Auto Care Centre, Sajgaon, Pune – Expressway on the Mumbai–Pune Expressway, the network now extends across one of the country's busiest inter-city corridors. This is a significant step forward in the company's vision to UNLIMIT electric mobility, enhance EV users’ experience, accelerate EV charging infrastructure deployment and enable seamless nationwide expansion.
HP Auto Care Centre, Sajgaon, Pune – Expressway is the first Charge_iN station to become operational under Mahindra's collaboration with HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited). The two companies had announced their agreement in March 2026 to develop EV charging infrastructure at HPCL retail outlets across India. Several additional charging stations under the collaboration are currently at various stages of development and construction, making it a key enabler in expanding reliable charging infrastructure across the country.
180 kW ultrafast charging across key corridors
Charge_iN stations exclusively feature 180 kW dual-gun chargers capable of charging Mahindra's Electric Origin SUVs—XEV 9e, BE 6 SPORTEQ and XEV 9S—from 20% to 80% in approximately 20 minutes*. Stations are strategically positioned along major highway corridors and co-located with high-quality wayside amenities such as restaurants and cafés. You can sip your coffee at your favourite food joint while your electric vehicle fast-charges and gets you going.
Charge_iN is an open network accessible to EV owners across all brands via the “Charge_iN by Mahindra” app, the “Me4U” app and leading aggregator platforms, and will soon also be available on the HP eCharge app.
Mahindra EV owners can also access approximately 35 000 public charging points, including HP eCharge Stations, across various Charge Point Operators through the Me4U app.
