Mumbai, September 16^th, 2021: Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd., the real estate and infrastructure development arm of Mahindra Group, today announced that it has appointed Jitesh Donga as Chief of Design. Jitesh will lead Design conceptualisation and execution for Mahindra Lifespaces’ projects across India, comprising residential developments, integrated cities and industrial parks. He will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives across all aspects of Design, including master planning, architecture, landscape and interior design, to deliver distinctive products that meet changing consumer needs, and are environment-friendly, resilient and adaptive.

Jitesh has more than 20 years of experience in architectural design and business management roles across residential real estate, industrial projects and interior fit-outs. In his last assignment, Jitesh was Head Design, Pune Zone, at Godrej Properties. He has worked on more than 100 projects during the course of his career and is the recipient of multiple international awards for design and architecture. Jitesh has extensive international experience, having worked on projects in the USA, Netherlands, Singapore, Thailand and China. His professional career also includes a successful entrepreneurial stint as the founder of an independent design studio in Ahmedabad. He has in-depth understanding of customer needs, design trends, urban development issues and compliances, infrastructure services, recreational spaces and landscape design; and has contributed to multi-disciplinary redevelopment and greenfield projects across India. Jitesh has a successful track record of strengthening business performance through processes & systems, design-led interventions and strategy.

Jitesh is a member of the Council of Architecture, India and Project Management Institute, USA. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from D.C. Patel School of Architecture, Gujarat.
